Perfect Day Trip!

Our guide Ken was fantastic! We booked the private car option which I highly recommend because the public transport lines looked long. We saw Mt. Fuji crystal clear from the ropeway. The black eggs were a fun experience!

Fuji finally revealed

After 3 trips to Japan, I finally saw Fuji-san! Winter is definitely the time to go. The private tour allowed us to stop at a hidden spot for photos that the big buses couldn't reach. Worth every penny.

Beautiful but crowded

Hakone is stunning, especially the autumn leaves. The shrine photo spot had a 1 hour line, but our guide suggested a different angle that was just as good. The pirate ship is a bit touristy but fun.

Exceptional Guide

We did the public transport version with a guide. It was a great way to experience the switchback train and cable car without getting lost. A bit of walking, but very authentic.

Great for family

Took my elderly parents. The private van was very comfortable and the driver was extremely polite and helpful with their wheelchairs. A stress-free experience.

Misty but magical

We didn't see Mt Fuji due to summer clouds, but the Open Air Museum was a highlight. Picasso collection is amazing. The guide pivoted the itinerary quickly when it started raining.

Cultural Gem

Loved the Yosegi (woodcraft) shop visit. It wasn't just sightseeing; we learned about local history. The soba noodle lunch recommendation was delicious.
